October 29, 1948 — October 9, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dianna (Crumm) Reese, who departed this world on October 9, 2026, at the age of 77. Born on October 29, 1948, in the quaint town of Niangua, Missouri, Dianna was the cherished daughter of Junior and Betty McMenus, who preceded her in death. She was also reunited in peace with her beloved significant other, Sammy Tucker, and her siblings, Billy Crumm, Carson (Buzzy) Robinson, Gloria (Susie) Young, and Johnny Crumm, along with her grandson, Tally Wilson. Dianna's legacy lives on through her loving family—her daughters, Kim Cantrell (Gary), Melissa Barton (Allen), and Velvet Engelhardt (Tommy). She was a proud grandmother to Travis Cantrell (Bekah), Trever Cantrell (Matty), Drake Engelhardt, Riley Engelhardt, Leiken Wilson (Clay), and Angela Johnson (Aaron). Her great-grandchildren, Hunter Cantrell, Remi Yates, Tate Cantrell, Madden Wilson, Mavis Wilson, Nolan Wilson, Garrett Johnson, Briar Johnson, and many other family members and friends will forever be touched by her enduring spirit. Dianna found her calling in nursing, dedicating her life to the care of others. Her compassion and dedication touched countless lives throughout her career, leaving an indelible mark on her patients, residents, and co-workers. Her strong-willed nature and fierce protection of her family and privacy were hallmarks of her character. Dianna knew what she wanted in life and pursued it with unwavering determination. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was talking for hours on the phone with her children and grandchildren, enjoying the company of her beloved dog, Butter, shopping with her daughters, or keeping abreast of current events by watching the news. Dianna was a beacon of strength and love for her family, exemplified by her favorite saying, "sweep your own back porch," a testament to her wisdom and practical outlook on life. In honor of Dianna's privacy she requested no service and her wishes will be honored. Though she has left this world, Dianna's spirit will continue to guide and inspire those who knew and loved her. Her memory will forever remain a cherished part of our hearts.
