Diane Marie Lytle

In Celebration of the Life of Diane Lytle Diane Lytle, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, has lived a life full of love, laughter, and cherished memories. Born on August 10, 1958, in the quaint town of Cumberland, Wisconsin, Diane was the beloved daughter of Nilo and Edith Nelli. She grew up surrounded by the love of her family, including her siblings, Joyce, Susan, Nancy, Mike and Steve. Diane's journey through life was marked by her warm smile and a genuine interest in others. She had an innate ability to make anyone feel at ease, a trait that endeared her to many. Her life was a testament to the power of kindness and the joy of connection, values she carried into her work and personal life. After graduating from Cumberland High School in 1976, Diane embarked on a career that included financial services, and real estate. Her work in real estate took her to various cities, including Madison, Wisconsin; Upland, California; Tallahassee, Florida; and Minneapolis, Minnesota. Diane had a passion for understanding the local real estate markets and was instrumental in finding homes that provided the best value. Her keen eye and meticulous research ensured that she and her beloved husband, Kevin, whom she married on June 2, 1979, in Cumberland, Wisconsin, always found the perfect home for their family, even as they moved ten times throughout their life together. Family was at the heart of Diane's world. She and Kevin raised two wonderful children, Gina and Brandon, who were the pride and joy of her life. Diane's love extended to her five grandchildren—Donovan, Ryann, Jace, Smith, and Breck—whom she adored deeply. She cherished every moment spent with them, attending their activities and sporting events, and was always their biggest supporter. Immediately following Diane's love for family and friends, were her dogs. She considered these furry friends an extension of her immediate family and she proved it every chance she could. Diane was predeceased by her parents, Nilo and Edith, and her sisters, Joyce Moen and Nancy Carlisle. She is survived by her devoted husband, Kevin, her children Gina Marco (Tim), Brandon Lytle (Andrea), her grandchildren Donovan Marco, Ryann Marco, Jace Marco, Smith Lytle, and Breck Lytle, and her siblings, Susan Peoppel (Alan), Steve Nelli (Glenda), and Mike Nelli. Each relationship she nurtured left an indelible mark on their hearts and will be cherished forever. A celebration of Diane's life will be held at Schram's Vineyards in Waconia, MN on Thursday, September 3, 5:00 - 8:00pm, where family and friends will gather to honor her memory and the profound impact she had on their lives. The family extends their deepest gratitude to the kind and generous staff at Grace Hospice for their compassionate care during Diane's final days. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests donations be made in Diane's memory to ALS Foundation. Diane Lytle's legacy is one of love, warmth, and genuine connection—a life well-lived and a heart well-loved. Her spirit will continue to inspire all who knew her.
