In Loving Memory

Diane Lee Paris Miller
March 5, 1947 — June 25, 2026
It is with heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life beautifully lived that we announce the passing of Diane Lee Paris Miller, who departed this world on June 25, 2026, after a brief illness. Diane was a beacon of warmth and kindness, gracing the lives of everyone she encountered. She was born on March 5, 1947, in Erie, Pennsylvania, to her beloved parents Joe and Lee Paris.
Diane's life was a testament to the values of love, family, and community. She graduated from St. Benedict's in 1965, and her journey thereafter was filled with the nurturing spirit only a true caregiver could possess. Though her professional career was centered around the heart of the home, she extended her nurturing nature beyond her immediate family. Diane devoted her life to her children, grandchildren, and countless other children, ensuring that each felt cherished and supported.
Her roles as a Girl Scout leader, cheerleading coach, and volunteer in the school cafeteria were merely a few of the many ways Diane selflessly gave of herself. She had an unparalleled talent for cooking, and her kitchen was a haven where everyone felt welcome. Diane had a remarkable ability to bring people together over a meal, her love and care evident in every dish she prepared.
Diane was preceded in death by her grandparents, Gaetano and Conchetta Amendola, her parents Joe and Lee Paris, her grandson Hunter Faulkner, and her son-in-law Tony Massaro. She leaves behind a family who adored her: her daughters, Jill Faulkner and husband Bobby, Wendi Fox and husband Mike, and Holli Massaro; her brother Bob Paris; her grandchildren, Jared Faulkner and wife Danielle, Trent Faulkner and wife Kaitlyn, and Trinity Fox; and her great-grandchildren, Dillon, Devin, and Lexi Faulkner. Diane's love and kindness also extended to her nephews, Tony Paris and wife Karla, and Ryan Paris and wife Adrianne, and their children.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the extraordinary doctors, nurses, aides, and support staff at St. Vincent's, as well as the compassionate members of Hospice, who provided exceptional care and comfort to Diane in her final days.
Though Diane has left this earthly realm, her spirit will continue to guide and inspire those who knew her. She was a woman of immense strength, a gentle soul who touched the lives of many with her kindness and unwavering love. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of her family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Diane's memory to a local charity that supports children, a cause that was close to her heart.
A celebration of Diane’s life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor and remember the remarkable woman she was. Until then, may we all strive to emulate her kindness and generosity, keeping her spirit alive in our actions and hearts.
