Diane Coffa
February 22, 1959 — March 18, 2026
It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Diane Coffa, a beloved wife, sister, aunt, and friend. Diane left this world on March 18, 2026, at the age of 67. Her journey began on February 22, 1959, in Mississauga, Ontario, born to Ernesto De Castro and Lydia Argota, who hailed from the province of Cavite, Philippines.
Diane was a beacon of warmth and kindness, known for her unwavering love and dedication to her family. Her life was a testament to the power of love, which was most beautifully expressed through her incredible talents in baking and cake decorating. Her creations were not just desserts but edible works of art, lovingly crafted and shared with those around her. Each cake she made was a celebration of life's sweetest moments, a reflection of her generous spirit and creative soul.
In 2005, Diane found her greatest source of joy and companionship when she married the love of her life, Frank Coffa, on a beautiful summer day, July 9th. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and shared dreams, creating a sanctuary of warmth and happiness.
Diane was predeceased by her parents, Ernesto and Lydia, her sister Linda, and her brothers Edgardo and Ernesto Jr. She is lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her husband, Frank, her siblings Danny, Teresita, Ricardo, and Carina, and her many cherished nephews and nieces, both in Canada and the Philippines. Her family was the center of her universe, and she dedicated her life to ensuring their happiness and well-being.
The family extends their sincerest gratitude to the dedicated staff of the Palliative Care Unit at Credit Valley Hospital for their compassionate care and unwavering support during Diane's final days. Their dedication and kindness will never be forgotten.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Diane's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society. This gesture will honor Diane's memory by supporting the fight against the disease that affects so many lives.
Diane Coffa's life was a beautiful tapestry of love, creativity, and unwavering faith in the bonds of family. As we say goodbye, we celebrate the life of a remarkable woman whose love left an indelible mark on all who were fortunate to know her. May her soul rest in eternal peace, and may her legacy of love and kindness continue to inspire us all.
