DIANE C. DIMAURO

In Loving Memory of Diane C. DiMauro March 2, 1941 – August 31, 2026 Diane C. DiMauro, 85, of Shelton, CT, was peacefully called home on August 31, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Diane was a remarkable woman whose greatest pride and joy were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Nothing brought her more happiness than her family, and the love she had for them was immeasurable. She leaves behind a lifetime of memories, laughter, traditions, and love that will forever live on through them. Diane had a zest for life and a personality that was impossible to forget. She was an avid thrifter who loved the thrill of finding a good treasure, a devoted New York Yankees fan, a proud Kansas City Chiefs fan, and loved a good round of Rummikub. She treasured the many adventures she shared with her loving husband and dear friends. Traveling brought her great joy, as did the winters she spent in Jupiter, Florida, where she created countless cherished memories. Some of her favorite destinations were Martha's Vineyard, Vermont, St. Martin & Italy. Above all, Diane will be remembered for the woman she was: kind, caring, generous, charitable, strong, and always willing to help someone in need. She had a heart for others and gave freely of herself without expecting anything in return. She was strong-willed, spirited, and truly one of a kind—a force to be reckoned with until the very end. Diane is predeceased by her beloved husband, Paul J. DiMauro, and her grandson, Jake Lanne. She is survived by her daughters, Amy Botti and Debbie Lanne, and her son, David Richitelli of Shelton, Connecticut; her cherished grandchildren, Rebecca Palm, Jillian Botti, Jonathan Botti, Joseph Botti, Nicholas Richitelli, David Richitelli, and Grayson Richitelli; and her beloved great-grandchildren, Dominic, Dante, and Gino DiGirolamo, and Ryder and Liliana Richitelli. Diane also leaves behind several step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews, along with many other family members and friends whose lives were touched by her love and generosity. Although her absence leaves an immeasurable void, Diane's love and spirit will remain in the hearts of everyone fortunate enough to have known her. She will be deeply and sorely missed, forever loved, and never forgotten. A private burial ceremony will take place for immediate family.
