It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Diane B. Webster, who departed from this world on March 25, 2026, after a valiant and courageous battle with cancer. Born on June 16, 1961, in the vibrant city of San Antonio, Texas, Diane illuminated the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her gentle spirit and unwavering kindness left an indelible mark on everyone she encountered.
Diane was the cherished daughter of David and Corine Barrientes. She was preceded in death by her beloved father, David, and her longtime partner, Noel Sanchez, whose memories she held close to her heart. Diane’s legacy of love and laughter continues through her devoted mother, Corine; her caring sisters, Corine and Antoinette; and her supportive brothers, David and Ralph, who all survive her with hearts full of love and admiration.
For four decades, Diane dedicated her life to her career at Southwest Airlines, where she was not only a valued employee but also a legend in her own right. Her commitment to her work and her colleagues was unparalleled, and she truly embodied the spirit of the Southwest family. Her colleagues, many of whom became lifelong friends, will always remember her infectious smile and her ability to bring joy to any room.
Diane’s personality was as vibrant and warm as the Texas sun. Known for her humor and quick wit, she had an uncanny ability to make everyone around her feel at ease. Her friends and family were the recipients of her boundless generosity and support; she never hesitated to lend a helping hand or offer a shoulder to lean on. Diane's immense heart and her zest for life will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew her.
A celebration of Diane's life will be held on April 10, 2026, at 4:00 PM at Hillcrest Funeral Home, located at 1281 Bandera Rd, San Antonio, TX 78228. The family invites all who were touched by Diane’s life to join them in honoring her memory and celebrating the beautiful life she led.
