It is with heavy hearts and deep gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the peaceful passing of Diana Lynn Rothenburgh, who departed this world on June 19, 2026, surrounded by her beloved family at her home. Born on September 25, 1954, in Painesville, Ohio, Diana was the cherished daughter of the late Dorsey Robert and Phyllis Nadine McVicker. Diana's journey through life was marked by her incredible kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for her family and friends. Her gentle spirit touched many, leaving a legacy of warmth and compassion that will be fondly remembered by all who had the privilege to know her. Diana shared a remarkable 43-year journey with her significant other, Joseph Rammacher, who resides in Castile, N.Y. Together, they created a life filled with treasured memories. Diana's nurturing spirit lives on through her three children, Harry Clifford Fisher III (and wife Lindsey) of Morgantown, W.V., Rebecca Lynn Myers (and husband Jason) of Bridgeport, W.V., and William Robert Rothenburgh of Parsons, W.V. Her family was her pride and joy, and she took every opportunity to share her love and wisdom with them. Diana was also a beloved sister to four brothers, Robert Michael McVicker (and wife Kimberly) of Albright, W.V., David Bryan McVicker (and wife Judy) of Metuchen, N.J., Bradley Melvin McVicker (and wife Tracy) of LeRoy, N.Y., and Jeffrey Scott McVicker (and wife Sherie) of Thurmont, MD., and one sister, Cheryl Denise Hendrickson (and husband Chris) of Rochester, N.Y. She cherished her role as a sister, always ready with a kind word or thoughtful gesture. Her heart embraced three stepchildren, Virginia Rammacher-Jansen (and husband Rob) of St. Thomas, Ontario, Shannon Snyders of Mitchell, Ontario, and Jacquie Wagner (and husband Mark) of The Villages, FL., and she was a loving grandmother to 15 grandchildren. Diana was adored by several nieces and nephews, including her very special niece, Courtney McVicker of Meridianville, AL., with whom she shared an extraordinary bond. Education was an important aspect of Diana's life. She obtained her GED and went on to study Early Childhood Development at Genessee Community College. Although her professional path was dedicated to being a homemaker, her love and devotion to her family were her greatest achievements. Diana found joy in the simple things—tending to her flowers and plants, doing yard work, and spending quality time with her family and friends. Her dedication to caring for her parents in their later years was a testament to her loving nature. She never missed an opportunity to send a thoughtful card on important holidays and was always keen to keep everyone informed about the latest weather updates. Diana's family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff at Amedisys for their excellent care and to Burnside Funeral Home for their accommodating services during this difficult time. Diana's wish for cremation will be honored, and her ashes will be laid to rest alongside her mother at Machpelah Cemetery in LeRoy, N.Y., ensuring their spirits remain together eternally. In remembering Diana, we celebrate a life filled with love, generosity, and kindness. Her legacy will continue to inspire and comfort all who knew her, and her memory will forever be cherished in our hearts.
