Diana Lee Inman

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Diana Lee Inman on September 15, 2026. Born on August 30, 1946, in Aubrey, Texas, Diana graced this world with her warmth, spirit, and unwavering love for family and friends. She departed peacefully at home, surrounded by those she cherished most. Diana was the cherished daughter of Jocy and Franklin Hoffman, who preceded her in death, as did her sister, Barbara Cundiff. Her memory will forever be celebrated by her loving husband, Dennis Inman, with whom she shared 63 beautiful years of marriage since their union on April 22, 1963, in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Together, they built a wonderful life filled with love and joy. Diana was a devoted mother to her sons, Chris, Mark, Jeff, and Jason, who will carry her legacy forward. Her nurturing spirit extended to her six grandchildren—Derrick, Devron, Cori, Mason, Mackenzie, and Kristina—and her nine great-grandchildren, all of whom she adored. She also leaves behind her beloved siblings, Glendene Berend, Sandra Garcia, and Randy Hoffman, who will deeply miss her vibrant presence. A dedicated professional, Diana retired in 2002 after 27 years of committed service with the Denton State School. Her dedication to her work was evident, and she touched the lives of many with her kindness and compassion. Diana was an active member of the Rockhill Baptist Church, now known as First Rock Fellowship, where she found community and fellowship. Diana's life was enriched by her passions and pastimes. She was never happier than when camping at the lake with her family, tending to her flourishing garden, or lovingly working in her yard. A fervent supporter of the Aubrey Chaparrals, she was their greatest football fan. She also had an unwavering love for Crimson Tide football and would enthusiastically cheer—often loudly—during Cowboys games. Above all, Diana treasured family gatherings, especially during the holidays, when her home was filled with laughter and love. The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Hospice Care and her dedicated nurse, Travis, for their compassionate support during Diana's final days. In honor of Diana's generous spirit, the family suggests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in her memory. Diana Lee Inman leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and joy. Her gentle spirit and infectious laughter will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who knew her.
