It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Diana Grosse, who departed this world peacefully on June 2, 2026, at the University of Cincinnati, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family. Born on January 17, 1976, in Portsmouth, Ohio, Diana was a beacon of warmth and joy, spreading laughter and love to everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Diana was the cherished daughter of the late Lura Spencer and John Spears. She was predeceased by her parents and her beloved son, Ryan, whose memories she treasured dearly. Despite the heartaches life presented, Diana always found a way to uplift those around her, often with a smile on her face and a jest on her lips.
She leaves behind a legacy of love in her surviving family: her devoted children, Johnathon (Avery) Spears and Morgan (Justin) Grosse, who carry forward her vibrant spirit and unwavering strength. Her joy was immeasurable when speaking of her grandchildren, Anthony and Kierra, who brought endless happiness to her life. Diana is also survived by her loving sisters, Teri (James) Ferry and Brandi (Mike) Cochran, who shared in her laughter and supported one another through life’s journey.
Diana’s infectious smile and playful humor endeared her to many, creating a tapestry of cherished memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched. Her family will undoubtedly miss her presence, but they find solace in knowing she is at peace.
In accordance with Diana's wishes, she will be cremated. A private ceremony will be held at a later date, allowing her family to honor her life in a personal and intimate manner.
As we bid farewell to Diana, we remember her not for her passing but for the beautiful life she lived and the love she shared so generously. Her spirit will forever be a guiding light, reminding us to find joy in every moment and to cherish the bonds we share with those we love.
Rest in peace, dear Diana. You will be forever missed and lovingly remembered.
The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. They kindly ask for privacy as they navigate this profound loss.
