Diana was predeceased by her loving parents, Herminia Aida Dominguez and Francis H. Jallu, as well as her devoted husbands, Christopher McCord, whom she married in 1972 and cherished until his passing in 1979, and John Amaniera, her partner through life from 1981 until his death in 2014.
She is survived by her beloved daughter, Christine McCord, and her cherished grandson, Christopher Acosta, who were the lights of her life. Her legacy of love, laughter, and strength lives on in them as they carry forward her indomitable spirit.
Diana spent over 20 years as a valued Text Support professional at Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCoy. Her remarkable ability to type over 120 words per minute on a manual typewriter was nothing short of astonishing and a testament to her dedication and skill. Her colleagues remember her as a quick-witted, humorous woman whose strong opinions were always delivered with a sharp tongue and cavalier attitude.
In her later years, Diana found joy in the simple pleasures of life, particularly her love for game shows. She delighted in challenging her daughter and grandson with trivia and fun facts, always keeping them on their toes with her vast knowledge and playful spirit.
