He was predeceased by his loving parents, Merline and Johnny, who instilled in him the values of compassion and hard work. These values became the foundation upon which Dewitt built a life filled with love and purpose. A devoted father, Dewitt was blessed with an extensive and loving family. His children—Toccara Holts, Lisa, Candiance, Wanda, James, Lestina, and Amber—were the pride and joy of his life. Dewitt cherished every moment spent with them, always providing guidance and support. His legacy continues through his 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, whose lives he touched with his gentle spirit and wise counsel. Dewitt was known for his generosity and warmth, traits that endeared him to all who had the privilege of knowing him.
