Devinder P. Carter

In loving memory of Devinder P. Carter, affectionately known as Vinder or simply "V," who passed away unexpectedly on October 13, 2026. Born on July 19, 2002, in Salem, NJ, Devinder brought warmth and joy to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Devinder was the beloved son of Bobby and Rosemary Carter, who survive him along with his siblings, James, Nazir, Nyrah, Kaydence, and Jayden Carter. He joins his cherished grandparents, Bobby and Rose Richmond, Clarence and Ann Carter, who predeceased him, in eternal peace. A graduate of the Salem City School District, Devinder's talents were as diverse as they were impressive. Known for his remarkable skills in assembling electronic devices, he showcased an innate craftiness that left many in awe. More than his technical abilities, it was his sparkling personality and infectious humor that truly defined him. Vinder had a unique ability to make everyone feel welcomed and valued, greeting each day with a quick wit and a warm smile that could light up any room. Among his favorite pastimes was spending time with his family, friends and his close companion. Devinder's hobbies reflected his love for life and his deep appreciation for those around him. His kindness and generosity were well known, and his impact was felt by all who had the fortune of crossing paths with him. A private funeral service will be held as we gather to celebrate the extraordinary life of Devinder P. Carter. While we mourn the loss of such a vibrant soul, we also celebrate the indelible mark he left on our hearts.
