It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Devin May, who left this world far too soon on July 12, 2026, at the tender age of 20. Devin was born on November 5, 2005, in St. Louis, Missouri, and though his time with us was brief, the impact he made on those around him was immeasurable. Devin was a cherished son to Duane Stevenson and Shanie Thompson. He was also a beloved brother to his surviving siblings, and he shared a deep bond with his loving grandparents. Devin's life was enriched by the love of his family, and the memories they created together will be cherished forever. Tragically, Devin was predeceased by his brothers, Devin Stevenson, Shawn Stevenson, Tawan Davis, Tyreek Davis, and his sisters Shawnese May and Tyana May. A proud graduate of East St. Louis High School, Devin was not only a star football player but also an outstanding student whose bright mind and warm heart left a lasting impression. Known for his industrious spirit, Devin was an entrepreneur and innovator, always seeking ways to make a difference in the world around him. Devin's life was a testament to the joy he found in simple pleasures. He enjoyed fishing and cherished the moments he spent with his siblings. An avid sports enthusiast, Devin held a deep admiration for basketball legends LeBron James and Stephen Curry, whose passion for the game mirrored his own. His radiant smile and kind, respectful nature were hallmarks of his character. Devin was known for his generosity, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. His involvement with Pine Line Missionary Baptist Church was a cornerstone of his life, providing him with a sense of community and spiritual growth. A service to celebrate Devin's life will be held on July 25, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Serenity Funeral Home, located at 1905 Union Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63113. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to a charity of your choice in Devin's memory, continuing his legacy of giving and kindness. As we gather to honor Devin's life, we hold close the special message from his family: "The moment that you left me, my heart was split in two, but one side is always filled with the beautiful memories we made.
