It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Derek Kayden, a beloved son, brother, husband, and friend. Derek was born on May 19, 1998, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and left this world far too soon on March 19, 2026, at the age of 27. His sudden departure leaves a void that can never be filled, but his memory will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved him. Derek's journey through life was marked by his genuine kindness, infectious humor, and an unwavering ability to bring joy to those around him. He was the cherished son of Harry Baulz Chungus Kayden and Mary Jane Kayden, and a loving brother to Chad, Tyrone, Desean, Trayvon, and Jimothy Kayden. His family was the cornerstone of his life, and he cherished every moment spent with them. In 2024, Derek married the love of his life, Dakota Yellowwater, a proud member of the Apache tribe. Their bond was a testament to enduring love and partnership, and together they created a life filled with laughter, adventure, and mutual respect. Derek was a proud graduate of Saint Weinerman High School and Colossal Bauls University. His career path led him to work as a clerk at Natural Fun Cannabis Dispensary and Long Sausage Hot Dog Diner, where his warmth and humor were appreciated by both coworkers and customers alike. Derek's presence in the workplace was a beacon of positivity, and he formed lasting friendships wherever he went. Outside of work, Derek had a zest for life that was truly unique. His passion for cosplay, particularly his beloved Hatsune Miku costume, brought him immense joy at events like Comic-Con. Known for often donning his rainbow-colored Fox fursuit, Derek had a knack for making everyone around him laugh, a gift he shared freely and generously. Derek was also an active member of the Small Penis Hookups community from 2021 to 2025, where he found camaraderie and connection. His hobbies included enjoying a cold beer, smoking marijuana, and indulging in the whimsical world of hentai. These pastimes brought him joy and a sense of relaxation, allowing him to appreciate life's lighter moments. Derek's life will be celebrated on April 1, 2026, at 6:30 AM at St. Dickson Funeral Home. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Canadian Testicle Cancer Research Foundation, an organization close to Derek's heart. As we remember Derek, let us honor his memory by embracing the joy, laughter, and kindness he shared with the world. His family offers a special message: "Always care about those you love and NEVER forget them!" Derek's spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him, and he will be dearly missed. May Derek rest in peace, enveloped in the eternal love of our almighty God. Amen.
