Deon was born on April 10, 1980, in the vibrant city of Detroit, Michigan, a place that remained close to his heart throughout his life. Deon was the cherished son of Ruth and McKinney Love. He was preceded in death by his adored grandparents, McKinley and Blanche Evans, and Lucious and Eunice Love, who undoubtedly welcomed him into the next life with open arms. He is also reunited with his beloved sons, Marqwes and Makhari, whose memories he held dear every single day. A proud graduate of Northwestern High School, Deon's journey into adulthood was marked by determination and a strong work ethic, traits he exemplified throughout his career. In 2001, he embarked on an entrepreneurial path and established his own fencing company, where he poured his heart and soul, building not only physical structures but also a legacy of integrity and trust. Deon was a devoted father to his surviving sons, Marquel, Marcus, and Marlon. His boys were the pride and joy of his life, and he dedicated himself to nurturing and guiding them with love and wisdom. Though he had no grandchildren or great-grandchildren, his legacy will undoubtedly endure through the lives and hearts of his family and friends. A man of quiet strength, Deon was known for his warm smile and generous spirit. He had a unique ability to touch the lives of those around him, offering kindness and support wherever he could. His approach to life was simple yet profound: to love deeply, work diligently, and leave a mark of goodness on the world. Family, friends, and those whose lives Deon touched are invited to celebrate his life at a memorial service on May 23, 2026, at 12:00 PM. The service will be held at Fisher Funeral Home, located at 24501 Five Mile Rd.
