Dennis Legrand Jordan

August 28, 1963 — July 24, 2026

Dennis Legrand Jordan, born on August 28, 1963, in Conway, South Carolina, passed away peacefully at his residence on July 24, 2026, surrounded by the love and warmth of his family. Dennis was a beloved father, grandfather, and friend who touched many lives with his boundless generosity and infectious spirit. Dennis was the cherished son of Julius Legrand Jordan and Patricia Stroud, who have both preceded him in death. He was also reunited with the love of his life, his wife, Donna Jean Jordan, who left this world too soon. Dennis and Donna's love story began on September 14, 1980, and for 40 wonderful years, they were inseparable, sharing a love that was profound and enduring. A devoted family man, Dennis leaves behind his treasured daughters, Tammy Milburn (Charles) and Jennifer Martin (Scotty), who will forever carry his legacy of kindness and strength. His grandchildren, Hailey Hardee, Connor Milburn, Hunter Martin, Madison Martin, and Austin Martin, were the light of his life, and he adored every moment spent with them. Dennis's loyal fur baby, Teddy Bear, will also miss his gentle presence. Dennis was a hardworking and dedicated machinist at Napa Auto Parts for over two decades, showcasing his skills and commitment. Later, he embarked on a new venture, founding Jordan's Hauling LLC, where he took pride in driving dump trucks and serving his community. In his leisure time, Dennis's heart belonged to the river. Summer weekends would find him basking on a sandbar, surrounded by friends, with his favorite tunes playing and his spirit enlivened by the rhythm of dance. A fervent fan of Gamecock football, Dennis never missed a game, his Saturdays filled with the excitement of cheering for his team. Dennis's memory will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew him—his laughter, his generosity, and his unwavering love for his family and friends. His kindness and joy for life remain an inspiration to all. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests donations be made to a charity of one's choice, in honor of Dennis's giving nature and his desire to make the world a better place. Dennis, your song may have ended, but the melody lingers on in our hearts. Rest in peace, dear friend.
