He was a man who found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was tinkering around the house, crafting beautiful eye-of-the-willow walking sticks, or training one of his many dogs he had throughout his life. His love for the outdoors was infectious, and he took great pride in passing down his knowledge of hunting and fishing to his children, grandchildren. Dennis could often be found at Eagle Lake, especially in the winter months, where he mastered the art of catching the elusive Eagle Lake trout.
