Dennis Irving

March 30, 1952 — August 23, 2026

Dennis Irving left this world peacefully on August 23, 2026, at the age of 74. Surrounded by the people he loved most, he passed away in the comfort of his home, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter. Born on March 30, 1952, in Kansas City, Kansas, Dennis was the beloved son of Betty and Tom Irving. Dennis was predeceased by his parents, Tom and Betty, his brother Kelvin Irving, his brother-in-law, Bobby Wykes and a grandson, Mason. Though they have gone before him, their memories and influences remained deeply etched in his heart. Dennis's life was a testament to the power of family and community. He is survived by his daughters, Tina, Tammy, Christa, and Brandy, who were his pride and joy. His legacy continues through his 27 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, who were a constant source of happiness and fulfillment for him. Dennis also leaves behind his siblings, Bill, Dana, Sue, Melody, Kermit, Johnny, Donald, and Kerry, who will forever hold dear the shared memories and the bond that only siblings can share. Throughout his life, Dennis was known for his quick wit and love for knowledge. He was a dedicated maintenance technician most of his life , until he retired in 2015. He was a dedicated Kansas City Chiefs fan!! You steered clear when the game was on or you got hurt!! Except for his doggies Fluffy and Jack, who were just as dedicated!! A service to celebrate Dennis's life will be held on August 29, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Blessing Heights Church in Arkansas City Kansas. Family, friends, and all whose lives Dennis touched are invited to gather in remembrance of a life well-lived and to share in the joy of his memory. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, in honor of Dennis's generous spirit and his lifelong commitment to helping others. Dennis Irving's memory will endure in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. As we bid farewell to a remarkable man, we find solace in the lasting impact of his life, the laughter he shared, and the love he spread so abundantly.
