Denise was born on December 4, 1998, in Grapeland, Texas, and tragically left us far too soon on April 23, 2026, following a major car accident that led to hospitalization and the amputation of her leg. Her passing has left an irreplaceable void in the lives of all who knew and loved her. Denise was the beloved daughter of Michael Thomas and Veronica Richardson, and a loving sister to Michael Thomas Jr. and Jamichael Thomas. Her family was her cornerstone, and it was in their company that she found the greatest joy. From a young age, Denise was known for her infectious smile and ability to make anyone and everyone feel like a lifelong friend—she truly never met a stranger. She graduated from Grapeland High School in 2016 and went on to earn an Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice in 2022. Denise was admired professionally for her positive attitude and the warmth she brought to every room. Her career was marked by a dedication to uplifting those around her, and her colleagues would often speak of her rare gift for spreading joy. Denise was an active member of the First Baptist Church in North Oklahoma, where her faith shone brightly, guiding her actions and inspiring those around her. Her kindness and generosity were limitless, and she dedicated much of her life to serving others, embodying the teachings of her faith with grace and humility. Among her many passions, Denise loved spending time outdoors, hunting and fishing with her dad, Michael Sr., and her siblings. These moments were not just hobbies but cherished family traditions that strengthened their bonds and created lasting memories. Denise had an extraordinary ability to lift spirits with her quick wit and humor. Always ready with a joke, she could lighten even the heaviest of hearts, making everyone feel welcomed and valued. Her radiant spirit touched countless lives, leaving an enduring legacy of love and laughter. A service to honor and celebrate Denise's life will be held on May 1, 2026, at 1:30 PM at the Rising Star Baptist Church in Cleburne, Texas. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to everyone for the outpouring of prayers, love, and support during this difficult time. Your kindness has been a comfort to them, and they are profoundly grateful. As we remember Denise, let us carry forward her legacy of love, compassion, and joy.
