Denise was the beloved daughter of Rolnus and Barbra-Jean Pannell, who instilled in her the values of kindness and resilience. She was a devoted sister to Donna Pannell, Ricky Pannell, Reds Pannell, Merriette Pannell, and Duane Adams, each of whom she shared a special bond with, characterized by shared memories and mutual support. Denise dedicated over 53 years of her life to a fulfilling career with the IRS as an assistant finance manager, where her attention to detail and dedication to her work were deeply admired. Her colleagues remember her not only for her professionalism but for the warmth and joy she brought into the office every day. Outside of work, Denise's passions were myriad. She loved to knit and crochet, creating beautiful, handcrafted treasures that she lovingly gifted to her family. Her artistic eye extended to photography, capturing life's precious moments with a skillful lens. Known for her lively spirit, Denise had a penchant for playing friendly jokes, much to the delight of her family and friends. Her heart was always open to spontaneous adventures, embodying a sense of wonder and excitement for life's journey. Denise was a beacon of love and protection to her two daughters, Angelina Gomez and Emerald Grant, who were her pride and joy. Her grandson, Jett Gomez, was the apple of her eye, and she cherished every moment spent with him, creating memories that will last a lifetime. Her family remembers her as a great protector and nurturer, a woman whose lively nature and radiant smile could light up the darkest of days. Her legacy of love and laughter will be dearly missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. In accordance with her wishes, a private ceremony will be held to honor Denise's life.
