It is with heavy hearts and profound love that we announce the passing of Denise Bryant, a cherished mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, who departed this world on October 1, 2026. Born on December 1, 1961, in Hempstead, NY, Denise was the beloved daughter of Harold and Dorothy Bryant. She is now reunited with her mother, Dorothy, in eternal peace.
Denise's life was a testament to her unwavering commitment to serving others. After earning her degree from Stony Brook University, she dedicated her career to guiding and mentoring young souls as a guidance counselor. Her years of service were marked by her genuine compassion and the profound impact she made on the lives of countless students. Her dedication extended beyond her professional life as she volunteered tirelessly with the New York Youth at Risk organization, striving to make a difference in her community.
Known for her generosity and selflessness, Denise was always available to lend a helping hand or a listening ear. Her warmth and kindness left an indelible mark on everyone she met. She embraced life with a spirit of giving and was a beacon of hope to many.
Denise leaves behind a legacy of love and service. She is survived by her loving son, Carlyle Bryant, her devoted father, Harold Bryant, and her dear brothers, Harold and David Bryant. Denise was also a proud grandmother to two grandchildren and was surrounded by numerous nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of friends who cherished her deeply.
A service to celebrate Denise’s remarkable life will be held on October 23, 2026, at 9:00 AM at Paul Lane Funeral Home, located at 115-33 Sutphin Blvd, Jamaica, NY 11434. As we gather to honor her memory, we reflect on the special message shared by her family: "Denise Bryant will be missed by all that came in contact with her."
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests that donations be made in Denise's memory to organizations that support youth and education, causes that were close to her heart.
