February 6, 1963 — August 25, 2026

Delores Marie Donerson, a beacon of warmth and joy, peacefully departed this world on August 25, 2026, in the comfort of her home. Born on February 6, 1963, in Compton, California, Delores graced the lives of her family and friends with a beautiful spirit and an infectious love that left an indelible mark on everyone she encountered. The cherished daughter of the late I.L. and Lucilla Donerson, Delores was nurtured in a home filled with love and laughter. She is now reunited in eternal peace with her parents and her brother, Lavatus Donerson, who predeceased her. Delores was a devoted mother to her two children, Demarcus and Domonique Donerson, who were the pride and joy of her life. Her role as a grandmother brought her immense happiness, and she adored her granddaughter, Malaysia Donerson. Her children and grandchild will remember her as a loving and caring figure whose presence was a source of comfort and joy. Delores was a woman of simple pleasures, finding happiness in listening to music, savoring good food, and taking care of her appearance with pride. Her love for doing her hair was a reflection of her vibrant personality. With her unique ability to make those around her feel special, Delores shared a laughter that was contagious and a kindness that knew no bounds. In honoring Delores's memory, her family suggests donations to a charity of your choice, a testament to her generous heart and her desire to give back to the world in meaningful ways. Her family shares this special message: "She leaves behind her loving son, Demarcus Donerson, her daughter, Domonique Donerson, and her beloved granddaughter, Malaysia Donerson, along with family and loved ones who will continue to cherish her memory. Though her time with us was not long enough, the love she gave and the memories she created will live on forever. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will remain in the hearts of her family and everyone who had the privilege of knowing her." In closing, we find solace in the words of 2 Corinthians 5:8 (KJV): "We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord." Delores now rests in the arms of her Savior, her spirit shining brightly in the heavens above.
