Delores Kneblik, died peacefully mother, on July 18, 2026. Delores was born on August 26, 1938 in Galveston, Texas, to the late James and Agnes Branesky. Delores attended St Patrick’s school
and graduated from Dominican High School, class of 1957. It was in Galveston, at St. Mary’s Cathedral, that she married Clarence Kneblik on May 4, 1963. Together, they built a home in Houston and raised their sons, Curtis and Rod until the untimely death of her husband in 1974
Delores, now a widow, persevered through grief and provided a home for her sons. She encouraged her sons through adversity sons to graduate from high school and enter college. But the trauma of her loss began to take its toll, Delores battled severe anxiety and depression for the remainder of her life and spent most of her years cared for in residential group homes.
Delores was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Clarence Kneblik, her devoted parents, Agnes and James Branesky, her sister, Florine Huss, and a favorite aunt, Annie Griggs. She leaves behind Rod(son), Curtis(son), Tracy (daughter in law), Clare and Benjamin (grandchildren), Joan Spencer (sister), and many nieces and nephews.
Delores will be laid to rest St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Praha, Texas.
Curtis and Rod extend their deepest gratitude to the compassionate staff of Brookdale Memorial Oaks and Heritage Park Katy for their dedicated care and service.
