Dejah Amillio

It is with deep sorrow and yet profound gratitude for her life that we announce the passing of Dejah Amillio, a beloved daughter, sister, godmother, and friend, who left this world on August 11, 2026, at the tender age of 29. Dejah passed away peacefully back home, surrounded by her loving family, leaving behind a legacy of cherished memories and a life beautifully lived. Born on August 5, 1997, in Cambodia, Dejah was the precious daughter of Maytyne and Daje Amillio, who predeceased her. Despite the challenges of losing her parents, Dejah's indomitable spirit shone brightly, drawing all those who knew her into the warmth of her heart. She is survived by her beloved godson, Kyray, and her treasured god-sister, Aniyaliece, affectionately known as Niya. Her life was also enriched by a wonderful relationship with Joshua Wilson, who brought her immense joy and happiness in the last two years of her life. Dejah was a proud graduate of Onondaga Community College, where she earned her LPN degree in 2026. Her dedication to nursing was evident in her four years of compassionate service at Park Terrace at Radisson, where she touched many lives with her care and kindness. Ever ambitious, Dejah had enrolled in a Registered Nurse (RN) program, with hopes of graduating in 2030. Her colleagues and patients will remember her not only for her professional skills but also for her vibrant personality. A vivacious spirit, Dejah was well-known for her sassy attitude, infectious laughter, and a smile that could brighten the darkest of days. Her sweet, mellow voice and quick wit left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Dejah loved to be surrounded by her family and friends, sharing special moments with her loved ones, particularly her best friend, Niya. Together, they created content, vlogged their daily adventures, and brought joy to many through their voiceovers. Dejah's passion for makeup and hairstyling was a testament to her creative flair and artistic soul. Dejah’s life will be celebrated on June 25, 2026, at St. Topaga Church, located at 703 Main Street, with a service commencing at 08:00. The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the staff and friends who have provided unwavering support and assistance in arranging the services. In this time of sorrow, we find solace in the profound impact Dejah had on all who knew her. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched. To know her was to love her, and her memory will forever be a beacon of love and laughter. Rest in peace, dear Dejah. Your light will never fade.
