Dee Anne Taylor

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Dee Anne Taylor, a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Dee Anne left this world on July 11, 2026, at the age of 46, after a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Born on January 2, 1980, in Artesia, New Mexico, Dee Anne's journey was marked by her vibrant spirit and the joy she brought to those fortunate enough to know her. Dee Anne was the treasured daughter of Gary Taylor (Cindy) of Carlsbad and Sandra Buzard of Artesia. She was a devoted mother to her five children: Christian Rodriguez of Artesia, Damon Rodriguez of Lubbock, Tatum Rodriguez of Midland, Caeden Pearson of Artesia, and Ashlyn Pearson of Lubbock. Her family was her pride and joy, and she was also a doting grandmother to five beautiful grandchildren: Phoenix and Camden Rodriguez, and Kamiah, Kashton, and Kannon Sugg. Her siblings, Kelly Kinnibrugh of Artesia, Keith Kinnibrugh of Carlsbad, Stephanie Zapata of Artesia, and McKenzie Olson (Mike) of Castlerock, Colorado, along with numerous nieces and nephews, shared in the warmth and light that Dee Anne brought to every family gathering. Dee Anne's life was one of boundless creativity and joy. Her favorite pastimes included singing and dancing, often choreographing routines that delighted her family and friends. She was known for her delicious meals, her love for R&B music, and her appreciation for stand-up comedy. Dee Anne's quick wit and radiant smile were ever-present, and she had a remarkable gift for making everyone feel welcome and valued. Her kindness, generosity, and compassionate spirit left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew her. In accordance with her family's wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to honor Dee Anne's life and legacy. While we grieve the loss of her physical presence, we find solace in the words found in Revelation 21:4 (NIV): "He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." In memory of Dee Anne, and in lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests donations be made to a charity of choice or a memorial fund to support causes that were close to her heart. Dee Anne Taylor's memory will forever remain a guiding light, reminding us all to live with kindness, laughter, and love. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
