Celebrating the Life of Debra Barbleh
With heavy hearts yet profound gratitude, we honor the remarkable life of Debra Barbleh, who passed away peacefully on August 11, 2026, after a courageous battle with heart disease. Born on April 7, 1960, in Liberia, Debra graced this world with her presence, leaving an indelible mark on all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Debra was the cherished daughter of Esther and Clyde Barbleh, who predeceased her.
A dedicated professional, Debra devoted 40 years of her life to her career as a respiratory therapist. Her commitment to her work was matched only by her unwavering dedication to her patients, whom she served with compassion and expertise until her retirement.
Beyond her professional achievements, Debra was a pillar of her community. As an active member of the New City Fellowship in St. Louis, Missouri, for 40 years, she nurtured her faith and friendships with grace and steadfast devotion.
Debra’s passions extended to the simple joys of life; she was an avid gardener who delighted in the bounty of fresh vegetables and the serene beauty of sunsets and sunrises. Her garden was a reflection of her nurturing spirit, much like the warmth and love she shared with everyone around her.
Known for her quick and warm smile, Debra had an uncanny ability to brighten any room with her presence. Her nurturing and loving spirit made everyone feel at home, and she always had the right words to offer comfort and encouragement.
Debra's legacy lives on through her beloved grandchildren, Veronica Barbleh and Victoria Bowah, who, along with her five great-grandchildren, will continue to carry forward the values and love she instilled in them.
A service to celebrate Debra's life will be held on August 22, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Reliable Funeral Home, located at 3958 Washington Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63108. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Debra are invited to gather in remembrance and gratitude for the time shared with her.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Debra's memory to a charity of your choice, honoring her generous and caring spirit.
Debra Barbleh’s life was a testament to love, kindness, and strength. Though she will be dearly missed, her legacy of love and compassion will continue to inspire and guide those she leaves behind. May she rest in eternal peace.
