It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Deborah Sizemore, a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Deborah left this world on May 4, 2026, surrounded by love, at her home in Bowie, TX. She was 65 years old.
Born in the vibrant city of Fort Worth, TX, on January 20, 1961, to James and Mary Tackett, Deborah was a beacon of light and joy to all who knew her. The Tackett family instilled in her values of kindness, generosity, and resilience, qualities she carried throughout her life and passed on to those around her.
Deborah is predeceased by her beloved husband, Albert Sizemore, with whom she shared a beautiful journey of life and love. Their story began behind the wheel, as they met while driving rock trucks together, leading to a joyful union on June 23, 1992, in Boyd, TX. Together, they crafted a life filled with laughter and shared adventures, a testament to their enduring partnership. She was also preceded in death by her parents, James and Mary.
Deborah leaves behind a legacy of love through her surviving family members, including her devoted daughters, Stephanie Jones and her husband of Aledo, TX, and Kimberly Throckmorton and her husband of Bowie, TX. Her sister, Sharon Tackett of Weatherford, TX, also survives her. Deborah's heart was further filled with joy by her three granddaughters, who she adored and cherished. Although she did not have great-grandchildren, her presence and influence will continue to resonate in the lives of her family and the numerous friends she held dear.
Deborah's career as a rock truck driver spanned 23 years, during which she was known for her unwavering work ethic and camaraderie. Upon retiring, she found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life, most especially spending time with her daughters and granddaughters. Her love for fishing provided her with moments of peace and reflection.
Known for her infectious laughter, wonderful smile, and warm heart, Deborah Sizemore touched the lives of everyone she met. Her home was always a place of warmth and welcome, where love and laughter were in abundance. Her legacy is one of love—a love that will continue to inspire and comfort her family and friends.
A service to honor and celebrate Deborah's life will be held on May 10, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Carter Lake Church, located at 412 Rock Hill Rd, Bowie, TX 76230. Family and friends are warmly invited to attend and share in the remembrance of a life beautifully lived.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to join them in a private celebration of life, an opportunity to share stories, memories, and the profound impact Deborah had on each of our lives. Her spirit will forever live on in our hearts.
