It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Deborah J. Lundberg, who peacefully left this world on May 20, 2026, at her home in Palm Bay, FL after a courageous battle with cardiopulmonary disease. Born on December 2, 1950, to Howard and Janet Bircher, Deborah was a beacon of love, kindness, and resilience. Her journey on this earth may have concluded, but her spirit and the memories she created will remain etched in our hearts forever.
Deborah was a remarkable woman whose life was a testament to love and dedication. She was a devoted wife to Helmer G. Lundberg, III, with whom she celebrated 40 beautiful years of marriage. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and shared dreams. Their union, which began on April 17, 1986, was a shining example of commitment and partnership.
A cherished sister, Deborah leaves behind her dear sister Sharon Olm and beloved brother Gary Bircher. She was predeceased by her parents, Howard and Janet Bircher, whom she spoke of often and with great affection.
Deborah's educational journey began at Melbourne High School, where she graduated in 1970. She went on to dedicate over 20 years of her life to Acopian Manufacturing, where she served as a department head. Her colleagues remember her as a leader who inspired with her unwavering dedication and her ability to make everyone feel important and valued.
In her personal life, Deborah found immense joy in the simple pleasures of nature. Her backyard was a sanctuary where she spent countless hours feeding the birds, especially the Cardinals and hummingbirds she adored. Her love for her mango tree was delighted by her sharing its ripe fruit with friends and family, a testament to her generous spirit.
Those who knew Deborah will remember her as a woman of immense warmth and compassion. She had an innate gift for making everyone feel important, offering her friendship and assistance unconditionally. Her kindness knew no bounds, and her legacy of love and friendship will continue to influence those she left behind.
In accordance with her family's wishes, a private celebration of life dinner will be held to honor her life and legacy. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to all who spent time with Deborah, offering encouragement and support during her battle with her illness. Your kindness and presence during those challenging times were a source of great comfort and strength to her and her loved ones.
As we say goodbye to Deborah, we take solace in knowing that she is now at peace, reunited with her beloved parents in a place free from pain and suffering. Her life was a gift to all who knew her, and her memory will forever be cherished. Rest in peace, dear Deborah. You will always be in our hearts.
