Deborah Halls

July 6, 1974 — April 22, 2026

With profound sadness and heartfelt admiration, we announce the passing of Deborah Halls, who left us peacefully at her home on April 22, 2026. Born on July 6, 1974, in Jackson, Mississippi, Deborah lived a life marked by compassion, dedication, and boundless love. Deborah was the cherished daughter of John and Mary Adams, who instilled in her a deep sense of empathy and a passion for helping others. Her academic journey was one of remarkable achievement; she consistently excelled, graduating at the top of her class. Her thirst for knowledge led her to university, where she earned her doctorate degree, setting the stage for a distinguished career in medicine. Her professional life began at Baptist Medical Hospital in Mississippi, Tennessee, where she served as a devoted doctor, touching countless lives with her skilled care and gentle bedside manner. Yet, Deborah's spirit of adventure and commitment to service knew no bounds. Her career took a courageous turn when she joined the Air Force, working with helicopters as an airborne medical professional, a testament to her bravery and dedication to others. Outside her professional life, Deborah was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, John. Their marriage was a testament to enduring love and partnership, spanning 45 wonderful years. Together, they crafted a life filled with laughter, joy, and shared dreams. Deborah is survived by her sister, Paulette, who was not only family but a lifelong confidante and friend. Her legacy of love and kindness lives on in her five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, each a testament to the vibrant spirit and nurturing heart that defined her life. As we prepare to bid farewell to a remarkable woman, we invite family and friends to join us in celebrating Deborah's life on May 14, 2026, at 3:00 PM. The service will take place at Saint Mary Church, located at 1381 Corps Rd. It is here that we will share stories, shed tears, and find solace in the memories of a life well-lived. Deborah's life was a beacon of hope and healing, a precious gift to all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of unyielding love and compassion, forever etched in the hearts of those she touched. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
