In loving memory, we announce the passing of Deborah Frances Miller, a cherished soul who graced this world with her presence on November 17, 1950, in Akron, Ohio. Deborah departed this life on April 18, 2026, after courageously battling a long illness, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, love, and unwavering strength.
Deborah was born to the late Thomas and Judy Thompson, who instilled in her the values of kindness and resilience. She was the beloved sister of Gayle and her twin brother Frank, both of whom preceded her in death. Despite these profound losses, Deborah carried on with grace, embodying the spirit of her family in every endeavor she pursued.
Throughout her 75 years, Deborah touched countless lives with her generosity and compassionate heart. Her family was the cornerstone of her existence, and she nurtured her children, Bryan (Ann) Gross, Chris (Dave Perego) Rufener, Jeff (Lisa) Miller, and Andy (Courtney) Miller, with unconditional love and wisdom. Her legacy continues through her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, each of whom carries a piece of her spirit, ensuring that her light will shine for generations to come.
Deborah also leaves behind a wide circle of nieces, nephews, and friends, all of whom were touched by her genuine kindness and infectious laughter. Her home was often a haven of warmth and welcome, where stories were shared, and memories were made.
As we gather to celebrate Deborah's life, we invite all who knew her to join us at the Anthony Funeral Home Akron Chapel, located at 1990 S. Main St., Akron, OH 44301. The service will be held on April 25, 2026, at 2:00 PM, where we will remember the joy she brought into our lives and the indelible mark she left on our hearts.
Deborah's family extends their deepest gratitude to those who provided support and care during her illness, as well as to everyone who shared in her life. Her memory will forever remain a source of comfort and inspiration to all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Deborah's memory to a charity of your choice, reflecting her lifelong commitment to helping others.
