Deborah Clark

September 16, 1952 — May 20, 2026

Deborah Clark, a beloved mother, wife, sister, and friend, peacefully departed this life on May 20, 2026, at the age of 73. Deborah was born on September 16, 1952, in the warm and welcoming town of Russell, Kansas, to the late Lyle and Opal (Anthony) Casper. Her journey through life was a testament to love, creativity, and resilience. Raised alongside one brother and one sister, Deborah's early years were filled with the joy of family and the simple pleasures of small-town life. Her parents instilled in her values of kindness and hard work, traits that she carried throughout her life. Deborah found her professional calling in retail, where she dedicated many years working at Daily’s in Cadiz and later at the Oak Grove Flying J. Her work ethic and warm smile also graced the tables where she served as a waitress, leaving lasting impressions on colleagues and customers alike. Deborah's heart was woven with creativity, and she found immense joy in arts and crafts, photography, and quilting. Her hands crafted not only beautiful pieces of art but also cherished memories for those she loved. Her quilts, in particular, were like pieces of her heart, stitched with love and warmth, offering comfort to family and friends. On September 25, 2023, Deborah married her beloved husband, Gary Alan Clark. Their union was a testament to enduring love and partnership, bringing joy and companionship into their golden years. Deborah leaves behind a legacy of love through her children: Clayton Pasek, Steve Pasek, Stephanie Ingram and her husband Brent, and Aundria Marie Pasek. Her nurturing spirit and guidance profoundly shaped their lives. Deborah was also blessed with seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, each one a testament to the ongoing impact of her love and wisdom. Deborah is survived by five brothers, who remember her as a cherished sister and confidante. Though her parents, Lyle and Opal, preceded her in death, their love and teachings live on through her legacy. Deborah's life was a masterpiece of love, creativity, and devotion. Her warmth and generosity touched the lives of all who knew her, and her spirit will continue to inspire all those who had the privilege of crossing her path. While her physical presence will be deeply missed, her essence will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends. A celebration of Deborah's life will be held to honor her memory and the beautiful life she led. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made in her name to a local arts and crafts foundation, ensuring that her passion for creativity continues to inspire future generations.
