Deborah's life journey began on January 17, 1957, in the close-knit community of Chicago Heights, IL, where she was born to Audrey and James Wolfe. Her early years were marked by the warmth and love of family, which she carried with her throughout her life. Deborah was a proud alumna of Bloom High School, graduating in 1975. Her love for learning and her dedication to helping others led her to a fulfilling career in caregiving, where she touched countless lives with her compassion and dedication. Her career was not just a job; it was a calling, and those who were in her care were more than just clients, they were part of her extended family. In her personal life, Deborah was known for her quick wit and warm smiles. Her ability to lift spirits with a well-timed joke or a gesture of kindness was unmatched. She had a special talent for crafting, creating beautiful, personalized gifts for special occasions that made each recipient feel cherished and loved. Her generosity knew no bounds, as she always found ways to make everyone around her feel special. Deborah's legacy is carried on by her loving and devoted husband, Richard Barbeau, who stood by her side with unwavering support. She is also survived by her son, James Piazza, who was her pride and joy, and her beloved brother and sister-in-laws, Fred (Tammy Barbeau), Bob (Janice Barbeau), Viola Paper, and Brenda Barbeau, who were like siblings to her. Her family was her world, and she cherished every moment spent with them. She is predeceased by her son, Michael Wolfe, and Scott Schneider, who preceded her in death and whom she missed dearly every day. Though they have left this earth, she held them close in her heart until her last breath. A private funeral ceremony will be held to honor Deborah's life, in accordance with her wishes. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Deborah's memory to support cancer research and help those in need. Details for donations can be obtained from the family. Deborah Barbeau was a beacon of light in the lives of those who knew her. Her kindness, laughter, and unwavering generosity will remain in our hearts forever. May she rest in peace, knowing she was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege to know her.
