Debora Denise Sumrow, known affectionately to family and friends as Debbie, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2026, at the age of 62. Born on July 8, 1964, in the close-knit community of Ridgley, TN, Debbie brought warmth, joy, and an unyielding spirit to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Debbie was the cherished daughter of the late Lex and Rae (Collier) Sanders, whose nurturing and love shaped the compassionate woman she became. Growing up in a lively household, Debbie shared her early years with her beloved siblings. Though she now joins her sister Susie Owen and her brothers Danny, Lloyd, and Tony Sanders in rest, their memories continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those who remain. A devoted mother, Debbie poured her love and energy into raising her son, Seth Sumrow, who resides in Ripley, TN. Her nurturing spirit and unwavering support were the cornerstones of their relationship, and Seth was the pride and joy of her life. Debbie's legacy of kindness and strength lives on in Seth, who carries forward her values and love. Debbie is also survived by her two sisters, Sharon "Kaye" Freeman of Ripley, TN, and Mildred S. Green of San Clemente, CA. The bond she shared with her sisters was a testament to the enduring strength of family ties, and they will forever cherish the many memories created together. A woman of vibrant interests, Debbie found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She was an avid reader, often losing herself in the pages of a good book, which transported her to distant lands and times. Her love of music was equally profound; she relished singing and dancing with her friends, moments that were always filled with laughter and delight. Above all, Debbie treasured her time spent with family and friends, nurturing these precious relationships with care and devotion.
