In Loving Memory of Debbie Lomax
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Debbie Lomax, a beloved wife, sister, and daughter, who left this world on May 30, 2026. She passed away peacefully in her sleep due to complications with her heart. Debbie was born on January 8, 1986, in the small, welcoming town of Warsaw, Missouri, where she would begin a life filled with warmth, love, and unwavering kindness.
Debbie was the cherished daughter of David and Heather Brattain, who instilled in her the values of compassion and resilience that guided her throughout her life. She grew up alongside her two devoted sisters, Amy Smith and Annabelle Williams, with whom she shared an unbreakable bond. Their sisterhood was a testament to the powerful connection they held, always supporting each other through life's various seasons.
In 2012, Debbie married the love of her life, Randy Lomax. Their marriage was a beautiful testament to love, partnership, and mutual respect. Together, they created countless cherished memories, exploring life's adventures hand in hand and nurturing a home filled with laughter and warmth. Randy was not just her husband, but her confidant and best friend, who will forever hold her in his heart.
Debbie's gentle spirit and generous heart touched everyone she met. She was known for her ability to light up a room with her smile and her uncanny talent for making everyone feel at ease. Her compassion extended beyond her family and friends, as she was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Whether it was through her volunteer work or her everyday interactions, Debbie made a difference in the lives of many.
Though her time with us was far too short, Debbie's impact will forever be felt by those who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of love, kindness, and strength will be carried on by her family, who will continue to honor her memory in their own lives.
In accordance with Debbie's wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to celebrate her life. The family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, those who wish to honor Debbie's memory do so with acts of kindness in her name or contributions to a charity close to their hearts.
As we say goodbye to Debbie, let us remember her not with sorrow, but with gratitude for the time we shared with her. Her light will continue to shine in our hearts, reminding us always of the beauty of a life well-lived and a love well-given.
Rest in peace, dear Debbie. You will be deeply missed and forever loved.
