Deanna Kay (Seevers) Goble
January 29, 1957 — June 8, 2026
Deanna Kay (Seevers) Goble, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 8, 2026, at the age of 69. Born on January 29, 1957, in Merna, Nebraska, Deanna's life was a tapestry of love, laughter, and artistic expression.
Deanna was the cherished daughter of Eugene and Margaret (Johnson) Seevers, who instilled in her a deep appreciation for family and the simple joys of life. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, William Vernon Goble, with whom she shared a beautiful marriage of over 50 years, having wed on August 9, 1975. Her parents, grandparents, and her husband William have all gone before her, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
A proud graduate of Sargent High School's class of 1975, Deanna was known for her quick wit and infectious laughter. Her ability to find humor in any situation brought levity and joy to all who knew her. She had an incredible gift for making everyone feel welcome and valued, a testament to her kind and generous spirit that touched countless lives.
Deanna found her calling in the most unexpected of places—a hardware store. It was here that her artistic eye truly shone, and she became a well-loved figure in the community, admired for her dedication and passion for her work. Beyond her career, Deanna's heart was devoted to her family. She is survived by her sons, William Eugene Goble and Brandon James Goble, her daughter-in-law Jonna (Lucero) Goble, and her cherished grandchildren, Lauren, Brynn, and Gavin Goble. Her sisters, Margene Smith, Arlene Seevers, and Beverly Huhman, remain to honor her memory and continue her legacy of love and kindness.
Deanna's hobbies were as vibrant and varied as her personality. She had a deep love for Boston terrier bulldogs and northern cardinals, animals that brought her immense joy. An avid cross-stitcher and colored pencil artist, Deanna found peace and expression in her creations. She was also known for her love of card games, where her sharp mind and quick wit often left her opponents in awe.
Her personal qualities were as colorful as her art. Deanna's ability to handle any situation with grace and poise was especially evident in the way she raised her "two ornery boys," William and Brandon, who are a testament to her strength and love.
A service to celebrate Deanna's life will be held on June 16, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the United Methodist Church, located at 208 N 2nd Street in Sargent, Nebraska. Family and friends are invited to gather and honor the remarkable woman who touched their lives so profoundly.
As we remember Deanna, let us carry forward her legacy of laughter, kindness, and artistic spirit. Her memory will forever be a guiding light to those who were fortunate enough to know and love her.
