It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Deandre “Boog” Collier-Longs, who left this world on October 5, 2026, at the age of 23. Born on June 5, 2003, in Cleveland, Ohio, Deandre was a beloved son, brother, and friend whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of all who knew him. Deandre was the cherished son of the late Linda Collier and Thomas Longs. He was predeceased by his mother, father, and brothers Dalonte and Kamrn Longs, as well as his dear girlfriend, Taniah Brant. Despite the heartaches he faced, Deandre's life was a testament to resilience and love. Known affectionately as "Boog" by those closest to him, Deandre was a beacon of joy with a contagious smile and a heart full of compassion. His love for music, sports, and community enriched the lives of many. Deandre had a unique ability to bring people together, whether it was through a shared passion for basketball or his spontaneous, laughter-filled gatherings. Deandre's legacy is one of kindness and generosity, values instilled in him by his beloved family. His life, though brief, was filled with meaningful relationships and a deep love for those around him. His memory will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him. A service to celebrate Deandre's life will be held at St. Clair Church, located at 56789 St. Clair, Cleveland, OH, 44097, at 1:30 PM. Friends and family are invited to gather in remembrance of a truly remarkable young man. In lieu of flowers, donations in Deandre's memory can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, an organization that held a special place in his heart. St. Jude's work in supporting children and families resonated deeply with Deandre's own compassionate nature. While Deandre's physical presence will be greatly missed, his spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
