With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Dean Sanchez-Soto, a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, who left us on September 16th, 2026. Born on May 1st, 1963, in Quezon City, Philippines, Dean was the cherished son of Jorge Manuel Soto and Julianna Marie Sanchez. Dean's journey through life was marked by profound love, unwavering dedication, and a deep sense of compassion for those around him. He was predeceased by his dear wife, Maria Bernie Sy Sanchez-Soto, whom he married on August 7th, 2006, and who sadly passed away earlier this year on May 7th. Together, Dean and Maria shared a beautiful life filled with laughter, adventure, and a strong partnership that set an inspiring example for their children. He was also predeceased by his son, Maxwell Sanchez-Soto, and his stepdaughter, Tina Vallar. Despite these losses, Dean's spirit remained resilient, continually finding solace in the warmth and love of his surviving family. Dean is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Isabella Sanchez-Soto, his son, Israel Sanchez-Soto, his stepdaughter, Catherine Chotalal, and his stepson, Matthew Vallar. His legacy also lives on through his two beloved grandchildren, who were a constant source of joy and pride. Dean's life was a testament to the power of compassion and community. His kindness and empathy touched the lives of many, and he was always ready to lend a helping hand or offer a comforting word. He was known for his infectious smile and his ability to bring people together, creating a sense of family wherever he went.
