It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dean Ray Guillory, a beloved brother, uncle, and friend, who departed this life on May 19, 2026, at the age of 51. Dean passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by the love and warmth of his family. Born on July 7, 1974, in Plaquemine, Louisiana, Dean was the cherished son of the late Emmett and Darlene Guillory. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jessie and Henry Lejeune, his dear Aunt Jean Landry, and his Uncle Lynn Lejeune. Dean’s life was a testament to the power of dedication and love. A proud graduate of Plaquemine High School, Class of 1992, he went on to build a respected career as a Security Supervisor, where he worked for over 25 years. His commitment to his work was matched only by his commitment to the people he loved. Dean is survived by his devoted sister, Dawn Thibodeaux, who shared countless memories and a lifelong bond with him. He leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter in his niece, Brittany Blankenburg, and nephews, Steven Thibodeaux and Aaron Blankenburg. He was a proud great-uncle to Chris Stewart Jr. (CJ), Kayden Roy, Addison Stewart, and Hayden Thibodeaux, whose lives he touched with his kindness and humor. Dean also leaves behind his loving Uncle Glynn Lejeune and his ride-or-die, Theresa Nichols, whose companionship was a source of joy and support throughout his life. Family and friends will gather to celebrate Dean's life on June 6, 2026, at Wilbert's Funeral Home, located at 24120 Railroad Ave, Plaquemine, Louisiana. The service will begin at 9:00 AM, where we will honor Dean’s legacy with stories of his generous spirit, his unwavering loyalty, and his gentle soul. Dean Ray Guillory was a man of quiet strength and boundless love. His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. As we say goodbye, we are comforted by the knowledge that he is now reunited with those he loved and lost, watching over us with his familiar, gentle smile. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Dean’s memory to a charity of your choice, reflecting his kind and generous nature.
