July 6, 1965 — May 11, 2026
With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Dean A. Emanuelson, who left us on May 11, 2026, at the age of 60. Dean was born on July 6, 1965, in Concord, Massachusetts, and was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend to many.
Dean was the cherished son of Diana L. (Jones) Emanuelson and the late Carl Emanuelson. He is survived by his devoted mother, Diana, who was a constant source of strength and love throughout his life. He is survived by his brother, Ward Emanuelson, his wife Susan and their children, Whitney, Christopher, and Matthew. He is also survived by his estranged wife, Diane Emanuelson and his stepsons, Danny and Dylan Mutty, who were part of Dean's life journey. He leaves behind a beloved extended family and many friends who will forever cherish the memories they created together.
After graduating from Maynard High School in 1983, he joined his father’s business, Emanuelson Plumbing and Heating. Dean earned his master’s plumbing license and eventually took the helm of the family business after his father's retirement.
Dean was a man of many passions. He had a profound love for his dogs and was an ardent fan of New England sports teams. Whether playing hockey, enjoying a round of golf, or fishing, Dean found joy in the simple pleasures of life. A gifted woodworker, he spent hours in his workshop, crafting pieces that will be cherished by family and friends for years to come.
Those who knew Dean will remember him for his generous spirit and willingness to lend a helping hand.
A memorial service to celebrate Dean’s life will be held on June 5, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Memorial Congregational Church, located at 26 Concord Rd, Sudbury, MA. The family expresses deep gratitude for the care and compassion given by Dean’s devoted friends and caregivers during his final days.
He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to Buddy Dog Humane Society, Sudbury, Ma.
