In 1999, David found the love of his life, Janice Cochran Gibson. Their love story, a beautiful testament to enduring partnership, culminated in marriage in 2017. Together, David and Janice shared 27 wonderful years, filled with laughter, love, and mutual respect. Janice, his devoted wife, survives him, alongside his first cousin, Edwillie. David's legacy is further carried on by his cherished grandchild, whose life has been enriched by his grandfather's gentle guidance and unwavering love.
David was a man of many talents and interests, a true renaissance spirit. His life was a tapestry woven with experiences that spanned generations, each thread adding depth and nuance to his story. A celebration of David's life will be held on June 26, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the 1st Gethsemane Church, located at 1159 Algonquin Park Way. Friends and family are invited to come together to honor David's memory, share stories, and find solace in the legacy of love and kindness he leaves behind.
