A proud graduate of Sturgis High School, David was a free spirit, known for his infectious smile and down-to-earth sense of humor. David found fulfillment in simple pleasures and the beauty of nature. An avid fisherman, he found solace in the calm of the water and the anticipation of a catch. He was a passionate cook who delighted in preparing meals for his family, ensuring that every gathering was filled with love and good food. His hobbies extended to hunting and listening to music, both of which provided him with endless joy and a sense of adventure. Though David's career was rooted in volunteering his time at his stepfather's construction company, his real success lay in the relationships he built and the kindness he shared with others. His generous heart and willingness to lend a helping hand were the cornerstones of his character. On April 30, 2026, at 11:00 AM, a service will be held at Grey Lake in Sherman Township to honor David's life. The family extends their gratitude to all who attend, inviting everyone to say their goodbyes with a quick cast into the water and a moment of reflection in his memory.
