November 8, 1983 — October 29, 2026

It is with heavy hearts and fond memories that we announce the passing of David Satterfield, a beloved son, husband, father, and friend, who left this world on October 29, 2026. Born on November 08, 1983, in Charleston, South Carolina, David was a remarkable individual whose spirit touched many lives during his brief but meaningful journey. David was the cherished son of David Satterfield Sr. and Alice Arrington. He was predeceased by his loving grandparents, Robert White Sr. and Gladys Satterfield, whose memories he held dear. He leaves behind his devoted wife, Samantha, to whom he was married for nearly five years, and their beautiful children, daughters Brianna and Annabelle, and son Dean. Though he had no grandchildren, the legacy he leaves behind in his children is profound and lasting. David's life was a testament to resilience. He faced life's tribulations with courage and humor, and his passing marks the end of a long, brave battle. Despite life's challenges, David found joy and fulfillment in his work at Kaytech Inc., where he served as a Maintenance Man for 14 years. His colleagues will fondly remember his creative solutions, often involving zip ties, duct tape, and even bubble gum. His wit and resourcefulness were legendary, and he brought laughter and camaraderie wherever he went. An active member of the Hee-Man Woman Haters Club and a proud sponsor and guest speaker for the Zero-Fucks Given Annual Gathering of Alumni, David's unique spirit and zest for life were evident in every endeavor. His passion for working on junk and antiques, coupled with his remarkable talent as a collegiate staring contest winner, Jack of all trades, Master of none and shit-talker extraordinaire were some of the many ways he expressed his lively character. David's family invites all who knew him to celebrate his life at a service to be held on November 6, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Sword of Joshua Independent Full Gospel Pentecostal Assembly, just off State Road 23, on the Frontage Road. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in David's memory to Reed’s Junkyard and Scrapyard, an organization close to his heart. The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to all who shared in David's life, for your patience, humor, and kindness. As they fondly recall, "Thank you for putting up with him and not smacking him or cussing him out on the daily." David's legacy of love, laughter, and resilience will forever be remembered and cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
