January 25, 1989 — April 21, 2026

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of David Robinson, a cherished son, brother, friend, and entrepreneur, on April 21, 2026. Born on January 25, 1989, in Cleveland, Ohio, David's journey, though cut short by cancer, was filled with love, laughter, and indelible contributions to the lives of all who knew him. David was the beloved son of the late Jarrell Woodson and Cindy Whitson. He was predeceased by his parents, James and Cindy Woodson, and his siblings Leslie, Ashley, and James Woodson, who undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms into the eternal embrace of peace. In life, David was the embodiment of resilience and ambition. He founded Fast Freight, a logistics company that quickly became a testament to his hard work and dedication. Through his leadership, he not only provided services that connected communities but also created a nurturing environment for his employees, whom he regarded as family. David's entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to excellence left an indelible mark on the industry and his community. Beyond his professional accomplishments, David was a man of simple joys and profound kindness. He found peace and joy in the quiet pursuit of fishing, often reflecting on life’s mysteries with a fishing rod in hand. Golfing was another passion, and he cherished the camaraderie and challenge it provided. Perhaps most importantly, David was a devoted friend and family member, always eager to spend quality time with his loved ones. His quick wit and warm smile could lighten any mood, and he had an uncanny ability to bring people together with laughter and love. David's life was a tapestry woven with threads of humor, warmth, and an undeniable zest for life. He was known for his infectious smile and the ease with which he could lift the spirits of those around him. His presence was a beacon of light, and his legacy continues in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him. In accordance with David's wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to honor his memory. During this intimate gathering, his family and close friends will celebrate the life of a remarkable man who touched so many lives with his generosity, humor, and boundless love. Though David's time with us was shorter than we would have hoped, the impact of his life remains vast and enduring. As we grieve his loss, we also celebrate his life—a life filled with achievements and cherished memories. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit will forever be a guiding light to those who loved him. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in David's name to cancer research organizations, in hopes of finding a cure for the disease that took him from us too soon. Rest in peace, dear David. Your journey may have ended, but your story and your spirit live on in all of us.
