David Robert Bash, born on March 29, 1955, in Milwaukee, WI, passed away peacefully at home on September 17, 2026. David was a devoted father, a loving grandfather, and a cherished friend to many. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, humor, and an unwavering love for the Milwaukee Brewers. David was the beloved son of the late Gregory and Genevieve Bash. He was also predeceased by his brother, Douglas Bash. He is survived by his children: Jennifer Mueller and her husband, Paul; Donna Liesch; Cristine Schellin and her husband, Jeremy; and David Bash and his wife, Keri. David was a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren: Jaden, Sawyer, Jonah, Charlie, Walter, Klara, and Mia. Though he did not have the joy of welcoming great-grandchildren, his heart was full of love for his family. Throughout his life, David was known for his warm heart, generous spirit, and passionate enthusiasm for baseball, especially his beloved Brewers. His love for the game was infectious, and he delighted in sharing it with family and friends. David's sense of humor and ability to bring people together will be sorely missed. In honoring David's memory, the family invites those who knew him to a celebration of his life. This special gathering will take place at Wingers in Oconomowoc at 4:30 PM on Friday, October 23rd, where stories will be shared, memories cherished, and the warmth of his spirit will be celebrated. The family kindly suggests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a charity of your choice in David's honor. His life was a testament to the values of kindness, community, and love, and any contributions made will help continue his legacy of generosity. David Robert Bash's life was a tapestry woven with love, laughter, and the simple joys of family and friendship. He will be dearly missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His spirit lives on in the hearts of those he touched, and his memory will forever be a source of comfort and inspiration.
