Born on October 12, 1939, to Mr. and Mrs. Belnado Ampardo Salinas, David was a beacon of strength and warmth from the very beginning. Raised with values of integrity, compassion, and resilience, he carried these principles throughout his life, touching the hearts of everyone he encountered. David shared a beautiful life with his devoted wife, Mary Alice Salinas, who remains a testament to their enduring love. Together, they built a family grounded in mutual respect and unwavering support. He was a proud and loving father to his children, Darrell (Melissa), David and Ludy Salinas, and Dwayne Salinas. His legacy extends to his adored grandchildren, Meighan, Selena, and Isaiah Salinas, who each carry a piece of his spirit within them. David was further blessed with two great-grandchildren, Neveah and Avery Baldera, whom he doted on with endless affection. A man of profound wisdom and gentle humor, David found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Whether he was sharing stories of the past, enjoying nature's beauty, or spending time with family, he embraced each moment with gratitude and grace. His presence was a source of comfort and strength, providing guidance and love to those around him. In his final days, David was cared for with great compassion by the wonderful team at Elara Caring Hospice Care.
