Though he is now reunited with his parents and beloved brothers, Joseph and Henry Matthews, in eternal rest, his spirit and legacy continue to live on through those who had the privilege of knowing him. Throughout his life, David was a beacon of wisdom and compassion, always ready with a warm smile and a wise word. He touched the lives of many with his generosity and gentle demeanor, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who crossed his path. His love for his family was unparalleled, and he took great pride in the accomplishments of his nephew, Darren Matthews, and his 12 great nieces and nephews.
