In Loving Memory

David Mark Russell
February 26, 1965 — April 11, 2026
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of David Mark Russell, age 61, who left this world on April 11, 2026. Born on February 26, 1965.
Mark was the cherished son of the late Don C. Russell and Dona Holland Russell, and the beloved grandson of Cynthia Holland and Otto Holland, and Eima Baze Russell and W.W. Russell. He is survived by his devoted wife, Tammy Russell, his adored daughters, Shanna Aquilar and Brittany Woolf, and Brittany's husband, Billy. His brother Douglas Russell and wife Rose, brother Clifton Russell, and sister Vickie Carpentiere and husband Eddie, also mourn the loss of a brother.
Mark was a man who found joy in the simple, yet profound pleasures of life. An avid fisherman and hunter, he found peace and contentment on the waters of his favorite lakes, where he spent countless days surrounded by the beauty of nature. His love for the outdoors was surpassed only by his love for his family, especially his grandchildren—Adam Salinas, Analise Salinas, Gunner Woolf, Wyatt Woolf, Lane Woolf, Kaitlynn Riggs, and James Riggs. These grandchildren were the light of his life, illuminating his world with their laughter and joy.
A service to celebrate Mark's life will be held on April 22, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Full Gospel Tabernacle, located at 1010 South Parkway Drive, Alvarado, TX 76009. Friends and family are invited to gather in remembrance of a remarkable man who touched so many lives.
In honoring Mark's memory, let us carry forward his legacy of love, generosity, and the joy he found in the simple moments. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those he loved and those who loved him.
Rest in peace, dear Mark. Your journey has touched us all, and your memory will guide us until we meet again.
