In Loving Memory

DAVID KEITH LEE
June 15, 1965 — March 14, 2026
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of David Keith Lee, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. David passed away peacefully at his home in the comforting presence of his loving family on March 14, 2026, at the age of 60. Born on June 15, 1965, in Kewanee, Illinois, he was the cherished son of Richard Lee and Jean Crotts.
David spent his formative years in Biggsville, Illinois, where he graduated from Union High School in 1984. Soon after, he answered the call to serve his country, enlisting in the United States Navy. His time in the Navy was marked by dedication and camaraderie, values that he carried throughout his life.
On August 6, 2011, David married the love of his life, Tiyger Baldwin. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and shared dreams. As a devoted father, David was incredibly proud of his children, David Lee and ShayAnn Waddle, who, along with their families, were his greatest joy. His legacy continues through his four treasured grandchildren, who brought light and laughter into his life.
David's career was marked by a strong work ethic and dedication. He worked as a machine operator at Tenneco for 12 years, a journey that was only interrupted by the challenges of his illness. His colleagues remember him as a man of integrity and strength, whose presence made the workplace brighter.
Outside of his professional life, David found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was an avid fishing enthusiast, often finding peace and solace by the water's edge. The roar of his Harley-Davidson motorcycle was a familiar sound, as he embraced the freedom of the open road with unbridled enthusiasm.
David was predeceased by his father, Richard Lee, whose memory he cherished deeply. He is survived by his devoted wife, Tiyger, his loving children, and grandchildren, who will carry forward his spirit of kindness, resilience, and love.
A private funeral ceremony will be held to honor David's life, reflecting the quiet strength and grace with which he lived. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of choice, as a tribute to David's generous and caring nature.
In remembering David Keith Lee, we celebrate a life well-lived, a heart that loved deeply, and a spirit that will continue to inspire all who knew him. Though he is no longer with us, his legacy of love and kindness will forever be etched in the hearts of his family and friends. May he rest in peace, enveloped in the warmth of eternal love.
