David was the cherished son of John and Debra Keller, who predeceased him. He carried their legacy forward in the loving family he built with his wife, Carole Keller. Together, they raised two wonderful children, Holly and Aaron, who brought immense joy and pride into their lives. Holly, 55, and Aaron, 53, were the light of his life, and his guidance and love shaped them into the remarkable individuals they are today. David's educational journey began in Ohio, where he attended high school before pursuing his passion for learning at the University of South Carolina. There, he studied business administration, laying the foundation for a life characterized by commitment and integrity. His sense of duty led him to serve in the United States Army from 1972 to 1975. During his service, David forged friendships and learned values that would guide him throughout his life. After his military service, David embarked on a fulfilling career as a mechanical engineer. Known for his problem-solving skills and strong work ethic, he left a lasting impression on colleagues and contributed significantly to many projects. His career was not just a job; it was a platform where he could express his creativity and technical prowess. Beyond his professional achievements, David's heart found its greatest joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was an avid fisherman, finding peace and contentment in the outdoors, especially when shared with family. His grandchildren—Olivia, Kylie, Ali, and Jessie—were the center of his world, and he relished every moment spent cheering them on and supporting their endeavors. David's life was a tapestry of treasured gatherings, laughter, and love. Whether working around the house or spending quiet moments with Carole, his presence was a gift to all who knew him. His sense of humor and unwavering support will be deeply missed. In accordance with his wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has offered their love and condolences.
