David was the cherished son of James Basaldua and Cynthia Marmolejo, who together nurtured his gentle spirit and unwavering kindness. As a brother, he shared an unbreakable bond with his sibling, Edward Marmolejo, creating memories that will forever be treasured. David's family was his world, and his devotion to them was evident in every aspect of his life. A proud graduate of G. W. Brackenridge High School, Class of 2014, David carried with him the friendships and values he cultivated during those formative years. His education was not only a testament to his dedication but also a foundation for his lifelong journey of learning and discovery. Preceded in death by his beloved Aunt Sylvia G., Uncle Joe G., and Grandmother Hortencia V., David found solace in remembering the lessons and love they imparted. Their spirits undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms as he journeyed to his eternal home. David's sudden passing from a heart attack has left a void in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
